There is no road sign for the sharp bend., 5th November
There is no sign for a sharp bend ahead. It is a sharp bend onto a single lane bridge with an adverse camber so it is really dangerous especially with the drop into the river or quarry. Also there are no chevrons on the actual bend to warn and guide drivers at night. This is a dangerous bend with inadequate signage which has led to three accidents in 15 months. Only a matter of time before a vehicle goes over the edge into the river or quarry.

Leylandii trees dumped in lay bye. As you cross the bridge coming from Stanhope turn immediate right before reaching the right turn in the road.
These weren't here when I cleared this area of cr@p at the back end of last year.

Bags of concrete dumped along side footpath. These appear to have been here for a number of years.
This is not left overs from when the quarry was a working quarry.
Bags of concrete shouldn't have a place in the Co. Durham countryside. :-)

Garden waste dumped on river bank, 9th April
Garden waste dumped on river bank. leylandii branches holly tree branches other cuttings and a chicken wire fence.
I have taken away to my local tip some of the chicken wire, an alloy wheel with a tyre on and a bin bag full of cans and bottles as these were in the river.
I couldn't get anything else as you will see the bank at this point is very steep - it is where the road is dropping into the river.
This is very recent tipping. There is tipping in other places along this road. I have taken all the plastics away and left the other stuff to rot.
Seems a popular place for dumping large amounts of garden waste.

Large pile of bricks and builders waste along side public footpath.
This seems to have been a regular dumping area over the years. behind the pile of bricks there is a drop off down towards a pond. If you look 20 yards both ways there is more bricks, a door, a bath, a pair of dumpy bags and a variety of other stuff.
I can only upload 3 photos which don't show the extent of the tipping.

Looks like someone has a personal rubbish dump here.
The tip is yards from Stanhope burn and every time i pass there is debris on the river bank and the surrounding area that has blown from the pile.
