Whenever it rains heavily, water streams across the carriageway here. The location is particularly hazardous because traffic tends to be accelerating hard up the hill into the dual carriageway section just as they hit the standing water.

Huge pot hole in westbound carrigeway thought e were going to lose wheel, 11th April
Large pot hole in west bound carrigeway A real dip thought we were going to lose a wheel. Dangerous as in narrow 40mph section. To avoid will have to enter other side of road.

Very hard to turn right out of Mainsgill Farm, 7th November
Hi - recently we (along with hundreds of other people) went to Mainsgill Farm to enjoy their delicious food. When we attempted to rejoin the eastbound carriageway in our car we discovered it was impossible to turn right. We ended up going left, then turning right into a side-road and turning around that way. Please could a turning lane or island of some form be created to make turning right in steady traffic more possible? This is a very popular spot. Thanks.

Dangerous Potholes, 12th July
All along this road the potholes are getting bigger , deeper, wider and more dangerous. There was no maintenance done in 2009 and consequently when we had the snow in early 2010 the damage was compounded. My cleaning lady has had to have her suspension on her car replaced. I shall write to Richmondshire County Council as well.

Dangerous Potholes, 12th July
There are numerous potholes along the entire length of this lane.
Some over 2feet wide and 6 inches deep.
It has now become dangerous to both cars and cyclists.
