Two 50mm deep holes that are about 400mm in length and roughly 20mm wide. They are degrading daily. On a bend in the road and its difficult not to get tyres in both hoe, 13th September
The potholes have been getting worse for some time now. A surface drain 10 m away and down the hill is also losing tarmac around its perimeter.

Four potholes in a row from 15" to 10", 20th February
All the potholes have been here for months but they are getting larger and with parked vehicles almost always narrowing the carriageway then drivers either hit the potholes or try to miss them and go close to the parked cars.

Abandoned vehicle and flytipping at side of River Swale, 22nd August
An abandoned vehicle and large amount of rubbish, litter and fly tipping has been left at the side of the lane which leads from Marrick Priory to Reeth. Please remove it from this beauty spot - it is on the Coast to Coast long distance walkers route and gives a very bad impression of our beautiful countryside in Swaledale!
