2 dangerous potholes in entry sliproad on A1M entry slip road as it joins A1M they would take out a motorcycle from Piercebridge/Barton interchange, 15th February
2 pothole that have been there a number of weeks are now much deeper they are just as the slip road comes alongside the main carriageway and are in the line taken by waggons/cars would take a motorcycle down now

There is a long metal ladder on the motorway lane 1 on the bridge over the Barton junction south bound. In the middle of the lane.

Footbridge on Marygate over Barton Beck, 5th July
The bridge has been poorly repaired (last year) after a long battle but now requires further repair with rotten beams causing a hazard. The previous repair left unpainted fresh wood butting against old painted but the joints have not been sealed which has allowed further deterioration. Can it please be repaired properly and the task completed with painting.

Speed limited to 50 mph whilst there’s no road works actually happening, 12th April
Speed limited to 50 mph whilst there’s no road works actually happening. There’s a ton of traffic cones sitting in the middle section and posts over cats eyes suggesting that there will be works starting at some point. Though currently there’s a 50 mph speed limit with no actual road works happening at the moment. There’s signs to say that there are further works happening ahead, so the speed limit is left in place. However still no work actually happening. I drove from Barton junction to Newcastle earlier only to spend most of the journey at 50 mph with no visible road works anywhere in sight!! If works are planned then I understand getting the equipment, cone’s, etc ready. However this doesn’t require the speed limit to be reduced for no apparent reason.

Poor markings / cats eyes, 22nd September
The A1(M) Motorway in both directions between J57 (A66M) to J56 (Barton) is missing alot of the road markings "worn off" as well as cats eyes are not present but can tell where they used to be. The road markings and cats eyes need refreshing/replacing
