Deteriorated fencing and poor temporary repairs, 15th May
The fencing on the south side of Easby Low Road is in poor condition. The original metal railings have been partly replaced with wooden fencing over several years but since 2020, hideous red plastic barriers have been used and are now in place for considerable stretches. This Public Bridleway forms part of several of Richmond's most popular and attractive walks and at the moment looks a complete mess. A plan to provide a permanent solution to this eyesore needs to be prepared and acted upon without delay.
