Street light is not working., 21st November
The street light has been out for 2 days. This is a dark road with no pavement and is placed on a bend. A lot of Sellafield traffic uses this road to go over Cold Fell, mostly passing through in darkness in winter. There is a danger to residents walking to and from the village amenities, school, church, community room, Gather cafe, Fox & Hounds pub.

Pothole reappeared, 8th March
Just outside Ennerdale Bridge on the road to Cleator Moor a massive pothole has reappeared. This has already cost me two new tyres as it's hard to see in the dark, especially when another car is coming in the opposite direction. It was filled in a few weeks ago but clearly not properly. Several more are also getting deep on Cold Fell and where there has been a water leak on the road from Ennerdale to Kirkland.

Grass embankments and hedging, 6th July
This is usually cut each year on the lane, except last year.(the C4025) But the grass and shrubbery on this lane is extremely thick, rendering the roadway half the usual size. Tricky when driving on bends in the lane, of which there are many.

High Stowbannk, 26th March
High Stowbank has been a continuing problem. The site, no longer a working farm is covered with delapidated buildings, 5 caravans, heaps of rubbish and old building materials. It is unsightly, a health hazard and a disincetive to tourism.
