No Pavement, 28th July
Outside my house and the joining houses (10 houses on the strip) there is no pavement. I understand it has been like this for years but it restricts access into our homes with prams/wheelchairs & deliveries when cars are parked right outside your door. We have had our vehicles damaged and scratched because of this. There is no other part in the village that doesn’t have a pavement and we would really appreciate something done about this.

Cars and vehicles constantly blocking through road, 17th August
There are vehicles constantly parked in front of what used to be The Princess Royal, now Woodys of Flimby. Causing a nuisance - most larger vehicles cannot get through, delivery vans, council waste vehicles, and it would be IMPOSSIBLE for a Fire Engine to get past. They have also put a speed ramp across the road which can cause damage to cars, and my Mother's wheelchair cannot get past. This is a through road, to peoples houses, SureStart and Flimby rugby ground. Complaints to the council has fallen on deaf ears, as most of the councilors have seen eating there. This was not a problem until "Woodys" took over the premises. PLEASE HELP CLEAR THIS ROAD.

Entire stretch through Flimby littered with potholes, 14th March
As per title the entire stretch of road on both sides through Flimby is littered with potholes. This is a bus route and is also used by commuting cyclists. The sheer number of potholes and broken up sections of road is making it dangerous to use by cyclists as they are having to avoid them with heavy traffic also doing the same.

House vibrating / shaking because of heavy traffic, 21st January
The house I live in and also neighbouring houses have had issues with there homes shaking when trucks and buses go passed even my light fittings shudder with the heavy traffic the speed of the road is 30 but not many take any notice of this and it’s getting worst I’ve moved my bed last week becuse of the vibrations but it’s Made it worst all the room in my house feel the vibrations trucks are the worst they speed passed early hours of the morning then all day long I feel everyone while in bed it’s driving me mad surly this can’t go on I already sleep with ear plugs in because of the noise I can understand if I lived next to a motorway at times it feels that way I also noticed a large crack appearing on the ceiling in the loft bedroom where I sleep which is the worst room for the shuddering / vibrating I’m hoping This can be looked into

Excessive speeding cars/trucks, 15th August
The speed of cars flying along the road constantly is really dangerous. The cars and trucks fly by at excessive speed day and night. Trying to pull out of the junction is quite frightening. The road is 30 mph but they still speed past at 60 plus in fact our house quite often shudders with the speed in which they go past. It is so unsafe and one day if this continues it wouldn’t surprise me to find a vehicle in my living room. Please someone needs to take action before someone is killed on this road. From 12 station road southbound. Average speed cameras were installed north bound but this seems to have made the problem worse because by the time they pass it the speed increases to very promptly.

Constant speeding cars, 15th August
From 12 station road heading south the traffic is speeding passed my house speed cameras have been put up our road heading north but not south so it’s actaully made our street worst since the speed cameras have been applied the traffic passes the cameras and speed up after the cameras which are in oppisate direction please can U apply speed cameras south bound from 12 station road towards the end of flimby it’s terrifying at times large trucks are the worst because of how heavy they fly passed our home all day long it’s rediculas considering hardly anyone does the 30 mph limit I’m now going to video the traffic if its not sorted out to show how fast they go passed our home we can’t even sleep at nigh with the windows open as the traffic speeds passed so fast it keeps us all awake and the house shakes at times that says it all really !!!!!

Consistently parking on double yellow lines, 4th May
Cars consistently parking on bottom corner of Brook Street, blocking incoming lane & causing near misses on a daily basis. Vehicles coming from the Maryport direction & turning left are being forced to brake sharply due to inability to see traffic coming in the opposite direction & are then stuck half way round the corner & unable to move This happens every day & a collision is only a matter of time !
