Can being evicted for communal turning area at end of culdesac, 20th February
The area were the vans are parked on the photos has been used as a communal parking area for 6+ years. It is not a drive way. It was a modified piece of land that was used communal to be able to park of the road when a tennant has a vehicle that was statutory of the road. And a safeplace for tennants to park there motorbikes through the summer months as access to our properties is via a concrete staircase. This as always been shared with all the neighbours and never been any complains. The area is a turning end of a coldesac with no double yellow lines and is at the dead end infront of mine and my neighbours property. The new tenant of number 23 towncroft dearham ca157hy belives that this is there land even though it's outside the boundaries of their property. I recived a letter today from my housing association who owns all the houses on my street instructing me to move my vehicle (van) by minday 26th February 2018. This leaves me nowhere to park my long wheel base vehicle other than infront of my property, at the thurthest point of the dead end street. However I feer the new tenants next door number 23 will want to use the area as a drive way (the kerb is not dropped) I don't wish to cause any parking issues. Am I legally allowed to park on the road in front of my house at the Thursday point of the dead end street (were the blue car is in the photo) as long as I am not parked on the kerb?
The area of land according to the land deed registry is not within the property boundaries of 23 towncroft. But home housing are claiming they own the land that I have always personally maintained the upkeep of the area myself.
