Culverts constantly blocked with leaves/litter. The culverts need cleared and roads swept to avoid the continuation of the problem.

Howgate Distington speed camera, 14th November
Flashing at every car even under the 40 MPH limit. Travelling at 30 MPH last night and flashed there and back.

Faulty Speed Camera, 13th November
There is severe rain and wind today and I drove through the speed camera zone at 30mph (it is a 40mph limit) and the camera flashed. I have been watching the speed camera since driving through and it is flashing at every car that is driving past. Therefore the camera must have a fault as I was way under the speed limit and it flashed every car.

Speed Camera incorrect calibration or set speed, 5th November
Travelling Southbound at approx 1500hrs 5th Nov’23 on the B5306 in a 40mph limit doing 40mph, exactly the same as every other day, but camera flashed. I assume no ticket will be issued since no offence committed but this does represent a distressing distraction to concentration whilst driving and needs to be rectified to avoid a potential incident. A temporary 30mph limit does start after the speed check area so this can not be a factor.

The speed camera closest to the roundabout is flashing every few seconds even when no vehicles are there.

15 inch pot hole, 2nd September
Pot hole been there for months. It's about 15 inch diameter and 6inch deep. Hard to avoid driving through it so people are mounting pavement to avoid

Shillies and foliage are completely blocking the drains/culverts at Swallow Hill (Commonside.). This is an ongoing problem which needs a permanent solution.

Anticipated issues due to roadworks and major event, 1st July
The ongoing roadworks for the junction improvements will have an effect on the vintage ralley event. There will be a significant and off normal effect on traffic flow giving rise to potential for problems that need to be observed and quickly managed to prevent issues building up which could effect safety.

Temporary speed indicator sign incorrectly set., 16th June
So two temporary/portable speed check/indicator signs have recently been install on the road. The problem is that they are set to warn the diver at speeds over 30 mph, but this is a 40 mph road. All other signs still indicate it to be a 40 mph road, so what gives. One of these signs is right next to a 40 mph speed limit sign. My concern would be if someone overreacted to seeing a sign telling them they are over the speed limit it end badly.

The light up bollard on the roundabout is not illuminated. It’s the bollard on the roundabout entrance/exit coming from Distington.

A series of deep potholes varying sizes 1 foot to 3 foot 4-6 inches deep outside 37 Hinnings Rd Distington CA14 5UX, 9th January
These potholes have appeared since Christmas 2022. A large amount of big stones are thrown up onto the pavement with every vehicle passing, stones are being thrown across the road onto the other footpath. The stones are likely to cause serious injury to pedestrians and other road users and may cause damage to parked vehicles or impact with house windows causing damage. This problem needs to be sorted urgently to avoid injury or damage

Abandoned cars and caravans, 11th December
Recently been reported numerous times to the council that there is abandoned vehicles and caravans in the public car park leaving no room for residents. A white belingo van is in the car park with broken axels, and there is three caravans also in the car park that the owners have been contacted but refuse to move them as they no longer need them so state it isn’t their responsibility to move them. It has now got to the point myself or my girlfriend are having to park our cars on the grass verge or in the lane by the metal containers which has caused damage to my vehicle
