Potholes, 20th March
A number of deep potholes have appeared on the A66 westbound in the region of Threlkeld Bridge on the approach to Keswick. I could not avoid driving over 2 and they caused a significant jolt to my car. They are situated before the second layby before the junction with the A591.

Two potholes 8 inch deep potholes on the bridge these were filled in 3 weeks ago and are now back again, 19th March

Road workers/ tipper drivers, 9th November
Every night we have to listen to horns being blown and tail boards banging. I just wish your contractors would have some respect for the village. Tonight has been the worst.

Over grown trees., 1st August
Over grown trees ,making pulling out very dangerous as there is not a lot of distance to see Traffic coming up to junction. This is very fast part of the A66

Trees over hanging!, 1st July
As you are waiting to turn out of the east junction of Threlkeld , trees have overgrown blocking your view of traffic coming down the the A66. As this is a fast piece of road you have poor visibility . Thanks

Parapet has sunk/concrete slab broken, 29th June
The raised parapet on station road from St John’s in the vale junction at Threlkeld towards St John’s in the vale (B5322). At the St John’s in the Vale end of the parapet one of the concrete slabs have cracked and is in several pieces, this has subsided and could be dangerous for pedestrians using this raised parapet.

A66/Threlkeld (west) junction - forestry verge works, 23rd March
Ongoing tree felling on A66 north side verge. Works are completely across footway and cycle track. NO closure signing or diversion signing for pedestrians and cyclists. This location is critical because it is just where the very popular Keswick - Threlkeld Trail joins the A66 to access the minor road onwards to Threlkeld. I blind or partially sighted person could walk into the felling works. I did mention the issues to the Kier foreman on site

Fairly large pothole on westbound carriage way, 4th January
Large 0.5m pothole on west bound carriageway of a66 about here, between threlkled and Keswick. Quite hard to avoid due to size and fast road.

Fallen tree is partially across shared footway/cycleway. It is possible to cycle and walk around it without stepping into the vehicular carriageway but could be an issue for users in the dark and those with poor eye sight. Also there is not one blue roundel sign between here and Scales to denote that the path is shared use.

3 very deep and dangerous potholes in road. The three are spread over about a half mile stretch in the approach to the bridge.
Will without doubt cause damage to car tyres.
