Lack of Grit, 24th January
There is no grit on the roads from Thiefside down to Calthwaite, this is a bus route and should be gritted prior to 8am or at least have grit out in case there is ice like the last few mornings on the bridge. The roads are also a mess with holes in the sides of the grass kerbs.

Flytipping in front of farm gate, Calthwaite, 27th August
A trailer load of what looks like household goods/appliances tipped up a small track which leads to a farm gate,visible from the road(track is on right heading away from Calthwaite). This road goes from the crossroads in Calthwaite village,leading to Thiefside, approx 200 - 300m from the Calthwaite crossroads, but before going under the motorway bridge.
