Blocked roadside drain outside lakeview b&b, 28th June
The roadside drain is completely blocked as are a few going up Gowbarrow Lane. These have not been cleaned for a long time and are full of roadside grit and grass.

2 x oblong shaped deep potholes approximately 1/5 of a mile before (North East of) the Ullswater Yacht Club, 18th February
Staff at Howtown driving to and from work have voiced concern about the damage this may be causing their cars

2 x potholes right next to each other on east side of Howtown road. Pretty deep (would potentially damage car wheels), just past Dr L Cama's house at Swarthbeck Point). Currently, with all the bad weather, these tend to be continually filled with water so just look like puddles to the unsuspecting driver, 3rd February
Pothole have been there now for several weeks, and a large number of work colleagues have commented on them. I thought I had reported them, but maybe I had not. I know I reported some others which were seen to very promptly by your good selves (Thank You :-)

Area between house at Grid Reference 449211 and large shed at Grid Reference 448209 has several potholes, including one on the west side of the road which is damaging car tyres. This section of the road seems to have water on it semi permanently which I believe is contributiong to the ongoing potholes and repair work which seems to go on fairly regularly - maybe drainage work in this area may solve the problem long-term, 8th January

Big pothole in road adjacent to wooden house in the woods on the west side of the road, 16th September
Pothole about 18 inches to 2 feet diameter and about 6 inches deep. Water filled most of the time, so you do not realise it is deep and you risk wrecking your car suspension if you hit it

Big pot hole approx 20 inches diameter approx 6 inches deep, 16th September
This is a narrow road and difficult to avoid sometimes, especially if there is something coming the other way. More often than not full of water, so difficult to tell that it is a deep pothole which will damage your car suspension

Large Pothole covered by water., 10th February
A deep pothole that has been patched has now re appeared, but hidden by standing water. It is in the middle of the road, so easily hit and not easily avoided as it is on a narrow bendy road. This has been here since the floods of December 15, but was patched. Re appeared this week (W/C 8 February 16)
