Access on to the A66 going west, 11th August
Tree growth this year is more than usual. Prior to accessing the short run in to the road you are driving up a hill ie below the road. Trees close to the road and to your right are obscuring the density of traffic. At the moment the traffic going west has just come through the 40mph Kirkby Thore restriction. Will this junction access hold up when heavy traffic is maintaing dual carriageway speeds for much longer ie the Kirkby Thore bypass? Maintenance of this junction needs attention even now.

Build up of litter, 17th January
Driving on the bypass today from Yorkshire to Cumbria and we noticed how bad the litter is on the verges of the bypass on both sides of the A66 in this area. Not a great advert for Cumbria and the village of Temple Sowerby. Mainly plasitc detritus. Is it possible to clean this area at least once in the year. Is a wide road which should make access safer. It would make a massive difference. Thnaks Johnny

Deep sided pot hole at edge of road., 7th October
This pot hole has been here for over a month and is getting bigger and deeper. It is right at the side of the road at the narrowest point of the road so if you meet a vehicle coming the other way that doesn't stop for you then you are in it with a bang. I wonder how may people have hit it. When it rains it is hidden in a puddle. Needs filling as now about 6 inches deep.
