Blocked gully (drain), 15th April
This blocked gully (drain) constantly floods when it rains which makes the pavement impassable for pedestrians walking by as they get soaked by the cars driving by. The cars that drive by cause a splash in the directions of the pavement.
This pavement is a key walking route to access the nearby bus stop and Waun-gron train station.

Dangerous potholes in road for elderly, 23rd March
Rookwood Avenue has a very high number of potholes and drains that are proud of the surface. The represent a high risk of accident for all, but in particular for the large number of elderly that live in the street.

Uneven dangerous road for length of street., 23rd March
There are a multitude of potholes running the length of the street. Every year or so a council van will come along and fill a few of the holes with tarmac from a wheelbarrow, but never all of them. Within a few weeks the newly filled holes become bigger and deeper as the temporary tarmac never lasts. There are several elderly residents living in the street and these holes are a trip hazard.A resident recently tripped and fell but luckily didn’t do anything serious. The whole length needs retarmacing properly not just temporary fixes.

Masses of rubbish under footbridge, 17th March
A prime location for people drinking and getting up to no good after dark. The small area beneath the railway foot bridge is constantly being used as a dumping ground. It is filthy and really ought to be fenced/sealed off. It is not railway property. On the other side of the footbridge, again not railway property, it is the same. Disgraceful behaviour by those who do it.

Yellow box needed Ely Bridge mini roundabout, 17th March
Traffic on roundabout from Western Avenue completely block exit of cars from Cowbridge Road East. This is road rage waiting to happen.

Phasing Issue, 17th March
Lights at Cardiff Road junction with Western Avenue are phased to allow very little flow. Cars at light (Cathedral School main entrance) cannot go when lights turn green as the traffic from their right is blocking passage. The lights need to be on longer from Cardiff Road to allow cars through. Also the cars from right are blocking junction.
