It would appear that the farmer has blocked this right of way on his land. There is also another gate further down the mountain which has an identical lock on it. I have checked on your website and it confirms that these paths are right of ways. These areas are regularly used by ramblers however they can no longer be used due to these locks being placed on the gates.

Road floods, 3rd January
On the bend the road floods in wet weather, this can cause possible splashing to pedestrians as cars drive through but have seen drivers drive around to avoid but this means driving on the other side of the road causing a new issue of head on collision with on coming vehicles. Suggest some sort of drainage. There is a drain but a few metres up hill.
