Large deep pothole with sharp/jagged edges on Sandwich road near Nonington Dover Kent (Nonington bound side of road. GPS coordinates ( 51.2300041, 1.2509350, 9th January
On the sandwich Road there are a lot of potholes quite a lot of them have to be avoided otherwise damage would be caused to your vehicle. Today 9/1/2024 at 12:15pm I hit a pothole in my vehicle, which was unavoidable due to oncoming traffic. It has caused both front and rear nearside tyres to be damaged./ punctured and beyond repair. And the front N/S alloy wheel has a dent in the rim possibly needing a new alloy wheel. Due to the pothole it has now made my vehicle unroadworthy and undrivable. And now I’m unable to travel for work and cannot afford the costly bill it will be to fix / make my car roadworthy again.

When leaving the roundabout to join Holt Street ,you have to stay tight to the hedge due to on coming vehicles , the large pothole is right where your nearside wheel needs to go .

Motorbike Noise Disturbance, 29th September
The noise from regular and speeding motorbikes and/or other vehicles in late hours through Nonington and out towards Woodnesborough or versa has become horrendous. The engines and exhausts should be illegal if not already.
Once again this is just another issue for Nonington and overall in the whole county, with the rapidly increasing neglect of authority over a degenerating culture of society in this stunning area of English countryside. A society pushed even closer to the Wall-E prophecy as the greedy and zealous human being attains the everyone for yourself lifestyle, all of which has been quietly adopted in a big brother state for the sake of the economy.

Neglected roadside shrine, anti-social behaviour hotspot, illegal parking site with potential to cause further accidents, 29th September
Sorry for their loss and with respect their grieve is understood, although not for doing so at the accident site of the deceased, regardless of the cause, which incidentally the councils should be doing more to combat. However, this shrine has been left to decay for now over a year with much of the items now decrepit or broken and continues to attract anti-social behaviour and/or visitors who cause obstruction in the road. It should be all removed and further work should now be prioritised for traffic management and public space protection orders defined through Nonington as the issues are increasingly worsening each year.

Obscured traffic signs, 25th September
The 30MPH max speed sign is completely obscured by growth from a neighbouring hedge on the right side heading towards Nonington. The one on the left is not overly clear to entering traffic either. An earlier crossroads sign is also surrounded by vegetation. The increasing negligence of speeding and anti-social driving through the village should at least be able to see the max speed on entry.

Street light, 22nd December
This is a very hazardous bend and there have been several accidents here especially in the winter. the street light is not working, there is no pedestrian footpath and everyone has to walk in the road. it is pitch black now at night without the light working.
