The double white lines prevent parking along the sides of the road. They have parked on the approach to a level crossing which inhibits traffic approaching Sandwich from Deal, as well as causes a bottle neck for road users, potentially crearing a road traffic collision

40cm x 25cm pothole, 29th December
Old repair has sunken by about 8 cm and regular heavy vehicles hit it every day which cause all the houses directly next to it to shake. It needs to be re repaired.

Oil spill from car accident., 12th November
A car has crashed along the road which has damaged a wall and fences. It has also left oil all over road, pavement and at the junction of Little Walton. The road and path is very slippery.

Plaster dumped in sreet drain, 7th November
Plaster mix was dumped down a street drain on Cattle Market late on Sunday evening. This drain has blocked in the past, so this is particularly concerning.

Southern Water manhole, 25th September
Rotting manhole cover - been reported before for replacement and spray marked but not replaced. If a member of the public stepped here to avoid traffic it could collapse.

Severe tripping hazard in footpath to station (Sandwich), 16th September
The footpath to the rear of the signal box at Sandwich is neither Network Rail or Southeastern. There is probably a tree root heaving the footpath tarmac so that it cause a serious tripping hazard (again); the lighting is also poor at this point coming over the Delf stream. Believe to sit with Dover DC.

Stones in the road, 14th March
Just south of the level crossing near Sandwich station there is a lot of broken stones and rubble on road. Looks like a vehicle has dropped these going over the very uneven surface of the level crossing(which is scheduled to be repaired at the end of March). High risk of damage/injury if a passing vehicle throws these up.

Road dips and cracks, 25th January
The road outside The Old Vicarage, The Street, CT13 0QT has cracks and dips going across it that appear to be getting deeper and have worsened in the last year - there are concerns with regards to the safety of the road. The increased traffic of heavy goods vehicles makes the building vibrate when they go past as it is on the roadside and with these dips appearing in the road concerns over stability of services underneath.

Dangerous and slippery foot path, 9th January
The footpath from the entrance of Foxborough Close as far as the top of Fir Tree Hill is covered with very wet and slippery leaves and muck several inches deep and has been like this for 6 months, unable to walk safely on the footpath and have to walk in the road , as do several many elderly residents in the area.
