Large lateral pothole developing, 14th February
A large (approx. 1m) lateral pothole is developing in the Southbound lane of the A351, extending from the side of the road inwards across the carriageway. It appears to be developing from a failed joint on an existing, large rectangular surface patch from a previous repair.
Since the hole is on the driving line, and is filled with water, it's not possible to see the hole prior to impact, which of course makes it worse. There is a significant amount of scattered debris across the road surface.
This represents a serious safety hazard and should be prioritised for repair before an accident occurs.

Blocked Storm drain, 3rd December
Storm drain completely silted up. This has caused the entire end of the cul-de-sac to flood during heavy rain, affecting 4 properties. Rainwater collects in a puddle approx. 15m x 15m, 20cm+ deep, covering lawns and driveways.

Large potholes in bridge surface joint seals, 12th November
Two large potholes have developed on the site of previous sealing "repairs" which mistakenly cover the bridge pontoon joints (a separate problem).
Hole #1 - approx 35 x 20 cm, 10cm deep Hole #2 - approx. 50cm long
During heavy rain, these holes are the source of small pools of water.

SLOW road markings obliterated, 12th November
Two SLOW road surface warning markings on the approach to the Saxon roundabout (southbound) are almost completely obliterated.
It's notable that this particular spot is subject to frequent animal crossings (deer) with one recent accident occuring 30m in front of me, and a near miss with a stag in the same place the day after.
Why are there no triangular warning signs indicating animal crossings at this point in the road?

Storm drain damage - potential collapse hazard, 12th November
A series of 5 storm drains on the southbound lane of the A351 after the exit from the Saxon roundabout are damaged, and recessing below the road surface.
Two of the five have no support material around the grid plate, creating large potholes and unsupported metalwork.
It is likely this damage results from motorists driving too close to the pavement, causing the grid plates to recess.
There is now a significant risk of collapse, or flooding of the carriageway.

Obstructed sign, 19th October
There is a sign by the last factory abutting carey road, the reverse of which is unable to be seen until you are almost on top of it because of a resident's hedge blocks the view. It is indicating junctions ahead.

Recessing manhole cover and support assembly - developing safety hazard, 1st September
Although a repair to this manhole was promised approx. 5 months ago, nothing has been done to repair it.
Cover and support assembly is now recessing further into the road surface with tarmac spalling around the assembly.
Since this lies directly on the driving line exiting the roundabout, it is now becoming a serious road safety hazard.
Please repair as a PRIORITY.

Cars and vans parking on blind bend., 14th July
Cars and vans often parked all along the outside of the blind bend so to drive around the bend heading out of Northport drive towards Sandford road you have no choice but to drive on the wrong side of the road around the blind bend. Sooner or later this is going to result in a head on crash so I would recommend double yellow lines are painted around the bend. (Previously reported in error as a problem leaving Drax Avenue)

Bushes need to be cut back, 12th June
This hedge belongs to number 2 Ropers Lane. It has overgrown to the point that pedestrians are having to step further into the road to avoid the hedge therefore putting themselves at risk from passing traffic as there is no footpath. Vehicles emerging from Ropers Lane into cow lane have severely restricted vision because of the hedge as to what is coming along Cow Lane. There is a high possibility of an accident occurring as the corner is effectively blind
