Large lateral pothole developing, 14th February
A large (approx. 1m) lateral pothole is developing in the Southbound lane of the A351, extending from the side of the road inwards across the carriageway. It appears to be developing from a failed joint on an existing, large rectangular surface patch from a previous repair.
Since the hole is on the driving line, and is filled with water, it's not possible to see the hole prior to impact, which of course makes it worse. There is a significant amount of scattered debris across the road surface.
This represents a serious safety hazard and should be prioritised for repair before an accident occurs.

Hole #1 - approx 35 x 20 cm, 10cm deep Hole #2 - approx. 50cm long
During heavy rain, these holes are the source of small pools of water.

SLOW road markings obliterated, 12th November
Two SLOW road surface warning markings on the approach to the Saxon roundabout (southbound) are almost completely obliterated.
It's notable that this particular spot is subject to frequent animal crossings (deer) with one recent accident occuring 30m in front of me, and a near miss with a stag in the same place the day after.
Why are there no triangular warning signs indicating animal crossings at this point in the road?

Storm drain damage - potential collapse hazard, 12th November
A series of 5 storm drains on the southbound lane of the A351 after the exit from the Saxon roundabout are damaged, and recessing below the road surface.
Two of the five have no support material around the grid plate, creating large potholes and unsupported metalwork.
It is likely this damage results from motorists driving too close to the pavement, causing the grid plates to recess.
There is now a significant risk of collapse, or flooding of the carriageway.
