B3068 Blandford road north has a 7.5t weight limit. Signs have not been placed at the clock tower end of the B3068 and only one sign exists at the junction of Upton roundabout/B3068 Blandford road north. Access is allowed for vehicles delivering to Spar and Aldi. Heavy goods vehicles up to 40 tonnes have been using this road for a number of years instead of using Poolw road. The B3068 has multiple surface cracks/splits due to movement. This has also been reported to Lytchett minster and Upton town council.

Resurfacing, 24th November
This road has just been resurfaced it is already starting to break up with potholes everywhere there’s a channel running down one side which fills with water when it rains hope it doesn’t freeze in winter don’t know who signs these jobs off as ok

Barking dog, 14th September
The dog is continously barking. I can't even let my mum's cat out due to the dog scaring him. She has a new cat and it's not fair she can't even let him out. He is a very aggressive dog. Barks continously day in day out.

Pelican crossing out of action, 12th January
Traffic lights on the pelican crossing near the double roundabouts at Upton are not working. Spotted school children trying to cross here this morning in rush our traffic.

Area of sunken road around manhole., 2nd July
Large area of sunken road surface around manhole cover directly outside 43 Egmont Road suggesting major void or sinkhole beneath road surface. Buses/large vehicles hitting area of sunken road cause neighbouring properties to be noticeably shaken, potentially damaging foundations or other structural damage to said properties. This problem seems to be significantly worse suggesting major structural failure beneath road surface.

General road sweep, 20th January
There has been a build up of dirt on the kerb edges for 6 months+, some are not visibly clear. Road sweep and Gully emptying needed on both sides the full length of the highway. Thank you.

Illegal parking, 20th October

Upton close - Gully drains blocked, 12th July
The Gully drains along Upton close are blocked. Heavy rainfall surpasses these drains and ends up on the main carriageway at the junction with Blandford road north causing spray and possibly splashing pedestrians as vehicles drive through it. In the winter it becomes a different problem altogether. Hoping you can resolve this. Thank you

Badly damaged and potholed road surface, 11th May
For approx 200m along Hoyal Road from the Lake Road junction the road surface is damaged. Primary cause was the heavy plant used during construction of the Barchester Upton Bay care home on the corner. This is now complete and it looks very smart but the developers have left the road surface in a poor state. The building works were completed by March 2021 but no effort has been made to repair the road surface (apart from a small patch by their access road).

Lack of lane guidance, 4th May
The Upton double roundabout has a total lack of guidance for motorists and cyclists alike as to which lane is intended for which exit. Arrows or signs indicating which lane on approach is for which exit would assist most users of this roundabout. I have seen many accidents and near misses on this roundabout. Today I witnessed a near miss that I feel certain would have led to a fatality. I strongly urge the local council to rectify this before someone is killed or seriously injured and the council find themselves on the wrong end of a lawsuit.

Parking close to junction, 22nd April
This is at a cross roads. As it is this crossroad has a hidden dip and one road is difficult to see out of. We are near 2 schools and in the mornings it’s becoming an ongoing issue, this car in the image is frequently parking here. Others also. With children crossing and the blindness from areas numerous road users are finding it hard. From my knowledge you shouldn’t even park close to a junction let alone a crossroads. This issue really needs resolving. Even if it’s a case of putting yellow lines down it’s just so dangerous. I really hope you can help to resolve this issue.

Environmental diesel damage caused by YOUR contractors, 28th March
On edge of new laid grass following wessex water work through upton country park. Diesel spillage left from vehicles or generator following work.
Why did you not check the area following completion especially considering you are telling us how much the environment means to you as a council - and blocking off edge wetland walk around upton country park - to protect 'the enviroment'.
