Household Rubbish Dumped, 17th October
October 16th at 17.54 a Blue Ford Van Registration Number FP56 WLJ dumped a lot of household rubbish next to Northern Express Glass. This was caught on CCTV but because it is private land the council won't do anything

2 large potholes one by house no 3 and 1 by house no 9 these have been filled in numerous times, more patchwork than road, 18th September
Potholes previously filled, but getting bigger and deeper, repairs not lasting, road is full of patchwork repairs that continually brakdown

Blocked footpath (wyre way), 20th December
The footpath is blocked by ankle deep mud where it crosses an industrial access road. This makes progress to the river side path impossible for most pedestrians and is a trip hazard. The problem appears to be caused by heavy HGV's using the road.

There is rubbish all over the road, 22nd March
Rubbish all over the road, from the recycling centre in the area. The lorries are transporting rubbish from the council tip to the recycling plant, but without ensuring that their load is secure.

Mess, 16th March
Various potholes. Back of crystal road has fly tipping and overgrown. Cars have no access. Verges never been cut. Pavements crumbling. Road drains blocked.

Extensive graffiti, 12th March
Last year the council were informed that someone who had painted the exterior of their house had dumped half pots of paint and used rollers in the seating area, these were not removed till a week later, subsequently seats, a rubbish bin, ornamental walls and paving slabs are now plastered in yellow paint

These have been there for a year, they are between 3 and 4 inches deep and now the cobbles at the end of the road are falling into one.

Poholes again in River Road, Thornton., 30th January
The potholes in River Road below the Wyre Cafe in Thornton have re-appeared with a vengeance. There are now several large and deep holes and the road surface is disintegrating. Passing cars are throwing debris up into the air.

Tipping at rear of Properties, 16th August
There is a growing number of propoerties in this street who are flytipping household rubbish at the rear causing the bags to be attacked by foxes and cats consequently the contents are being strewn about the area.
