Damaged road A361 both directions at Edgarley, 23rd April
This section of road has been in decline for several months. I believe it is now dangerous. I was travelling West at 30 mph (limit 40mph) a person crossed the road in front of me. I slammed the brakes on and my car just bounced along nearly hitting the pedestrian. The road surface is in such disrepair it made breaking so inefficient. This 30 to 40 meter section outside the school really needs to be addressed.

Bollards people keep scraping their cars on, 19th April
These bollards in st John's car park seem pretty pointless. They don't keep out the vans/trucks/van dwellers but they do scrape the sides of people's cars all the time and make it hard to get in and out of the spaces.

100m length of degraded road, 19th April
These potholes have gotten worse and worse over the last 6 months. Thanks to a water leak coming from an old pump station I believe at the back; Water is gradually ripping the road apart. There is one pothole on the left coming down the hill roughly 3 inches deep and a foot long. Coming round the corner by Millfield Prep is a 30M stretch that is so bumpy and torn apart, when caught unawares I have seen drivers verge across in the other lane as the pot holes are now sever enough to knock steering out.

High pedestrian road risk, 14th April
1. The pavement from the highlighted location is significantly slippery. The pavement is covered in what can best be described as algae build up. This is due to the extended time period that water has been copiously flowing down the hill along the kerb edge from the reservoir to the bend by Edgarley school. Not only is this a high risk slip hazard on a very narrow pavement but the amounts of water on the road surface means that as a pedestrian you will get splashed by approaching traffic. 2. Further ahead along the continuation of this pavement between the two acces roads to Aswell Lane the footpath is significantly reduced in width allowing dangerously close proximity between a pedestrian and to approaching traffic in particular HGVs. This is a 40mph road. I have been reporting my concerns of the pavement width since July 2020. There is a wide enough pavement but it is hidden under the detritus which has accumulated over the past 20 years. The road risk for pedestrian has continued to increase and is totally unacceptable. Will it take a pedestrian injury or fatality before those responsible for making this a safer place to walk a priority?!
