W001 High Street Freshford School Flashing Warning Light, 23rd April
From reports of this issue the contractor attended and the issue was fixed yesterday. However I checked this morning at school time (0830) and the warning sign not functioning (flashing). As a result there remains no warning to motorists on the High Street approach or the Freshford Lane approach (sign damaged and collapsed in to hedgerow).
Thank you.

Coming from Frome direction on A36, left turn, entering Branch Road, first 15 metres, 17th April
Although one pothole has already been reported, the general condition of the road surface is very poor, having been repaired multiple times, and is once again rapidly deteriorating. Run-off flooding is accentuating the attrition of the surface. Given that this is an exceptionally busy junction it would be desirable to fully strip the road and apply heavy duty asphalt.

On a sharp bend in Staples Hill, just after the turning to Iford., 5th April
The potholes are on a steep bend on Staples Hill. This is at least my fourth call-out for this part of the road. Your teams come to fix the problem, but the camber and amount of traffic means that unless the whole of the bend is resurfaced, potholes will keep occurring. Currently, the potholes on the bend are very dangerous for all road users, particularly cyclist and motorcyclists.

Missed General waste collection, 27th March
The communal bin located at The Viaduct (at the bottom of Brassknocker Hill) was not emptied on Tuesday, March 26th, and the following scheduled collection is on April 9th. Since this bin serves nine households for general waste disposal, it mustn't be left uncollected for another 2 weeks. Already overflowing, the situation poses a severe risk of attracting rodents to the area. Immediate action is necessary to prevent further complications and maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Pothole, 21st March
There is a large pothole on the right hand side of the road going up BrassKnocker Hill just before the turn off for Church Lane. I hit the pothole on Saturday 16th March in the morning approx 9am. As result of hitting the pothole, I felt vibrations through the steering wheel and today (21st March) after visiting a garage have had to have the wheel alignment. I would like to claim costs to cover this work.

On B3310 at Midford, opposite Mill Cottages and close to junction with the Pipehouse., 19th March
This pothole has been getting steadily worse for some weeks, and is now becoming very noisy (from my point of view as a nearly resident) and quite deep and dangerous (for motorists and cyclists). It's in a 30mph zone (though limit is constantly ignored) and surroundingh road surface generally is in poor and deteriorating condition with other smaller potholes appearing.
