This site is continuously being plagued by many potholes every time the council fixes one it comes back. The road surface is now so poor that there is potholes on both sides of the road. This needs to be rectified. I’ve had two punctures from these potholes. The road surface needs replacing here as a priority due to the continued expense of potholes arriving here and having to be fixed the council must have fixed this 10 times in the last 18 months and there are still potholes to be found.

Deep pothole, 14th April
This is a deep pothole on the left side as you go up the hill. There is a sequence of seven potholes on the right side that I have also reported. It is now impossible to drive up the hill without hitting these potholes. THEY NEED FILLING URGENTLY

There is a sequence of 7 potholes on the right hand side of the road as you go up the hill, they are very difficult to avoid now and have been getting deeper.

5 inch deep pothole with jagged edge, 12th April
The worst pothole very central in the road, burst a hole in the side of our new tyre. See images, this hole is 5 inches deep with a jagged edge and pointed stone that pierced a hole in the side of a tyre that has barely any wear. The section of road is littered with them, but this is beyond avoidable due to the position in the road

Multiple deep sharp-edged potholes, which are deteriorating quickly dangerous for cyclists, and damaging for cars. Now on both sides of the road so impossible to drive around

Blocked drain, 18th March
The drain at the bottom of Blacksmith Lane has been blocked for weeks. There is regularly flooding right across the road and onto Tadwick Lane as a result of the blockage. This has been reported a number of times and nothing has been done as you say that the drain will be unblocked “in the normal course of work”. This is not acceptable and if the drain is not unblocked a formal complaint will be lodged with the Council.

Drain cover once against collapsed. Tarmac surround of the drain disintegrated leaving sharp drain edging exposed.

Very large pothole, 11th March
There’s been a pothole here for about 12 weeks. It’s getting bigger and bigger. It needs to be made good. It’s on the left hand side of the road of heading away from the t junction. It’s now very very large. The whole road surface is in extremely poor condition around this stretch of road.

Water is eroding the road here and this pothole is at least 10 cm deep, very dangerous as I cycle along here frequently and sometimes drive .
