ISSUE: Working on tackling both an immediate rise in ASB in the Kingsmead Square area and problem solving long term issues.nnu2022 A data driven approach
ACTION: Additional daytime and evening Hi-Vis patrols have remained ongoing thanks to Home Office funding.
New planters installed outside Sainsburys have reduced Anti Social Behaviour that was being caused by rough sleepers.
A further in-person survey was conducted by PCSOs. Residents and businesses again reported seeing a reduction in Anti Social Behaviour recently and compared to this time last year.

ACTION: The Neighbourhood Team remains committed to safeguarding the vulnerable in our community.
Door knocks are still taking place at addresses at risk of being taken advantage of by drug dealers and users.
Community intelligence can be a massive help to us in identifying these addresses

Including surface swabbing for drug traces and hand swabs as condition of entry.nnu2022 Providing advice on identifying victims of spiking and how to safeguard them.nnu2022 Ensuring capacity isn't being breached.nnu2022 Frequent patrols around the area of night time venues to reduce ASB and violent crime both inside and outside of premises.nnAll with the goal of protecting both the businesses and people of bath's safety during the Night Economy hours.
