Massive pot holes, 4th January
All the way coming into Holt is really big pot holes and when your going from a 50mph to a 30mph- it’s very dangerous trying to slow down. They are on the left have side coming into Holt. They are damaging my tyres I need a shock absorber replaced on my car due to this already. Please can these pot holes be fixed. ASAP. It’s been there for over a year and they are just getting worse the road is crumbling

Really poor road surface, 21st October
The surface of the road leaving Holt is potentially dangerous for cyclists, who if going too fast, risk coming off their bikes. There are potholes and an excessively bumpy road surface. Due to the bends in that road and lack of visibility from the high hedges, being able to go at a reasonable speed on a bike is really important.

Pothole and collapsing iron works, 23rd April
The iron works on this bend have been collapsing for some time and are now extremely dangerous as they are causing cars to swerve to avoid them on this blind bend.

Dog excrement not being picked up on footpath, 28th September
Dog walkers not keeping dogs under control and allowing them to poo in the field and not picking it up. Children walking to school across this field footpath now walking in it.

Pothole, 8th March
There is a large trench style pothole in the road - its a danger as cars are either hitting the hole and damaging their cars or swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid it.

Loose metalwork in road makes a clatter, 14th February
Two metal covers for the mains under The Street are making quite a clatter as traffic runs over them. They are outside on number 88 The Street, and outside the United Reform Church also in The Street, here in Holt. Could they please be tightened-up or something to stop the noise?

Litter - how can I get involved?, 6th March
Hi, I live in Holt. There is a litter problem. I have marked The Star, which is a lane my children and I sometimes collect litter from. If you go from Leigh Rd towards Great Chalfied, there is lots of litter. Also, along the road from the entrance to Little Chalfield towards Stonnar, again there is always loads along there. I cleared the litter from the tennis court, playing field and park on Tuesday. When I am on a beach, I collect the litter. It's just awful. When I was litte, David Cassidy fronted a KEEP BRITAIN TIDY campaign. I am keen to learn what is the council's remit on litter, what campaigns are around to promote a tidier environment and what can I do to actively help, short of simply picking up after others which doesn't get to the route of the problem. It's really bugging me!!! Give me some feedback please! Thanks.
