Public Health, 22nd September
The northbound lay-by is regularly used as a toilet by cars and lorries. The hedge row behind the lay-by is at times covered in human excrement, this is worse in summer months. Can signs not be provided to direct vehicles to nearby service areas.
Also, the footpath at this point crosses the A36 and has no signage to warn drivers of pedestrians crossing. This will become a significantly greater problem as the fields to the east of the road will have hundreds of houses built over the next few years and this path will become much more popular.
Ideally some form of crossing improvement would be beneficial in the medium term.

Roundabout exit obscured by overgrown bushes, 13th June
A36 roundabout where it meets the A350 at Warminster. When leaving Warminster and stopping at the Roundabout you cannot see vehicles entering the roundabout that are travelling from Westbury direction towards Salisbury direction There are overgrown bushes causing an obstruction and making it very dangerous for vehicles trying to enter from the Warminster direction This is a 60mph road which as you will know is extremely busy, there have been many near misses. I have inspected the bushes and can confirm there are NO nesting birds in them. I have reported this previously and they were cut back, some of the adjacent trees also need trimming when nesting season is over
