Pedestrian Crossing button constantly lit on Southbound A449 crossing point., 3rd April
The traffic lights keep turning red as the pedestrian crossing request button is constantly lit on the southbound carriageway of the A449 on the south side of the junction.
When driving at night and there's no traffic, the lights constantly turn red stopping the main A449 for minutes at a time.

Flooding-blocked drains, 12th March
Every time there is heavy rain, the Northbound outside carriageway floods in the dip in the road approx half way between the truck maintenance depot and Light Ash Lane. traffic has to swerve back into inside lane to avoid the lake or risk high speed aquaplaning/water impact.

Litter, 28th February
The A449 between Cross Green and Gailey is covered in large quantities of litter. The grass verges on the sides of the road and the grass strip where the central reservation sits looks appalling. Please can this be cleared before the grass starts to grow?

Restricted Paths, 28th February
The A449 shared cycle/footpath between Cross Green and Gaily is severely narrow in several locations due to vegetation and soil ingress onto the path. It is particularly narrow between School Lane and Light Ash Lane on the western side of the carriageway. Please can the paths be cleared to keep cyclists and pedestrians safe?

Light pointing at wrong traffic, 1st August
As you come out of Old Stafford road at cross roads with A449 and School lane the traffic light that should be directing the filter lane traffic from the A449 is pointing at traffic coming out of Old Stafford Road.
This morning a car almost caused an accident as he though it was his light on green and it wasn’t

New yellow surfacing (higher friction coefficient) loose chippings, 5th July
Coming off the roundabout there are 2 lanes (southbound toward M54). Down the centre of EACH lane, there is a large collection of loose yellow chippings. There are no roadwork/safety signs, and if there are they are not clear at all because I missed them.
Safety signs need to go and be put out or placed somwhere where they are obvious and give reasonable warning. I nearly crashed my motorcycle this morning and I am lucky I made it to work, the road surface is absolutely shocking. Motorcyclists exit the roundabout and have to lean over because it is not a straight exit, whilst accelerating.

Long grass, 30th May
Over grown grass can not see round the island until you are on to of it. I have now witnessed multiple crashes due to this, i have been in a near miss. This is seriously unsafe for all road users

Central grass area at island completely obscuring view, 25th May
The central grassed area between the two coven islands is 5’ high, causing a highway hazard for everyone approaching! My son today had a car accident here and of the vegetation was lower simply would not have happened. I can see this has been previously reported….just how high does it have to get to for driver to be able to drive safely

Islands on central reservation, 19th May
A449. Coven you can’t see round the islands for vehicles coming as the over grown grass. There almost been numerous accidents as you cant see other vehicles until you are literally on then island. This is a massive safety issue for all road users and people crossing the main road
