I see someone else reported this over a year ago, but nothing has been done to repair the road since then.
The surface is actively disintegrating and is dangerous.
I'm amazed that major trunk roads are neglected like this. The repair costs will just keep rising as the sub layers will fail next.

Cluster of potholes around the island, 3rd April
Large number of potholes, circa 20+ that are down to the sub base in parts. Drivers are having to swerve around these to prevent tyre damage. This has been ongoing since at least May 2023.

Multiple massive potholes, 27th March
Several potholes, atleast 3 feet wide each across both lanes of the exit junction making it impossible to avoid them. Within the potholes are further holes that are atleast 6 inches deep. Caused a burst tyre and a recovery vehicle.

Road continually floods to over 1 foot deep, 18th February
This section of road floods to in excess of 1 foot and does so at the slightest amount of rainfall continually and consistently, the drains and gully's along this stretch of road need regular and effective cleaning

Mud always on the road from the quarry, 13th January
Mud and flooding always on the blind bend on the road, there for years and accidents waiting to happen and the mud comes of the lorries coming out of the quarry. Needs sorting

Numerous potholes all around the traffic island, 1st January
The entire island is heavily impacted by damaged road surface, large areas of tarmac are missing and causing a serious threat for motrcyclists. Potholes are long following the direction of traffic, this will cause motorcycle wheels to follow the pothole and potentially cause the rider to loose control.....this is potentially life threatening!
