The road design is awful, people can’t turn out properly and the way it’s filtered is awful, if three people go right, you have to wait for them to move, they move, the lights go red, you end up waiting in a queue for 20 minutes, needs fixing desperately

Cars don’t stop to look causing the majority of accidents on this roundabout., 8th July
Most accidents are caused from car approaching the round about from nel pan lane, they see up Wigan road (to their right) see it’s clear and fly across without even looking left. As they just think give to right so it’s their right of way. Meanwhile the cars coming up Wigan road encounter the pub on the right restricting their view of traffic from the right, they have to edge over the line before they can see oncoming traffic. All that is needed is a total stop sign for the cars coming up nel pan lane to stop the problem. I’ve had the salon 13 years and it’s easy to understand and see. Can someone please review this? I rarely use this road but was driving towards Atherton from leigh on the A579. Just after the junction near asda. there is x3 before the zebra crossing and x1 after it. this has just damaged my rear alloy wheel and cracked it.

Stop cars parking too close to junction, 5th January
Please put double yellow lines on Leigh Road at its junction with Orchard Lane. Cars and vans continually park on Leigh Road right up to the junction making it impossible to see clearly for anyone coming out of Orchard Lane.

Bricks on grass behind westleigh medical practice, 22nd August
There are bricks all over the grass and a pile of soil and bricks next to the alley. We have a problem with kids throwing things at people's windows and someone could get hurt.

No car park bay markings., 14th May
There is a small council car park between the pub (Spinners Arms) and restaurant (Rosie’s). As the car park has no line markings, drivers often take up far too much space meaning that the capacity for parking here is greatly reduced. Can lines be painted on this car park? In addition, the owner of the nearby laundry shop (Hindley Green Fresh and Clean) claims an area of the car park belongs to her and has placed a cone there, however there is a clear sign at the entrance to the car park that says it is council owned.
