Noisy and Clattering ironwork on A5 North Street junction, 2nd April
Despite the current resurfacing and improvement repairs to the A 5, there remains a noisy, clattering ironwork cover that is clearly in need of repair, which l can hear at night, when traffic goes over the ironwork, it is also sunk by an inch, meaning wheels crash into it. Is there no quality control with the current resurfacing and addressing of the road surface problems, that leaves ironwork problems unresolved.

Very deep Potholes x2, 3rd February
Pot Holes are situated approximately 30/40 metres in Popular Lane and are very deep. They are also very difficult to see at night due to lack of street lighting. The pot holes are jagged, step and tyre killers.

HGV road noise, Excessive and Relentless 24/7, 9th November
I would like to know what can be done about the excessive road noise that is happening day and all through the night from hgvs travelling along the A5 in church bridge Cannock coming from and going to the main depots. They come all through the night and sometimes my flat shakes with the sheer weight of whatever is going past. The drivers also beep their horns at each other on passing. This is a residential area and something needs to be done .

Unsafe place for pedestrians to cross, 5th September
I am the local district councillor, for this area concerned. The lights at this junction are not fit for purpose. Residents from the new housing development adjacent to the junction, are concerned about their safety and the safety of their children crossing the A5 to gain access to School and to local areas. In addition to these concerns and complaints, there is no provision for individuals who are elderly or disabled to cross the road safely. The current climate conditions are about encouraging people to walk more and drive less, but this junction is blocking local residents from walking and instead using cars as they are too worried to try and dodge the heavy traffic, coming in all directions making this road crossing for pedestrians dangerous leap across the road, which is impossible with small children in tow. (issue as been present since construction layout, new housing estates means an upgrade is needed ASAP- to avoid death )
