Great supporter of new one way system however, 29th February
I understand at the junction in question (haigh lane woolley low moor lane intake lane) meets the two jurisdictions of Wakefield and Barnsley Councils . Wakefield has introduced to my opinion brilliant one way system to stop notorious accidents at a difficult junction. Unfortunately from what I've read on Councillor's Facebook page this was never communicated between the two Councils as admitted by Wakefield. What needs to be done to complete the project for the benefit of all is that priority needs to be given and shown to haigh lane - woolley edge lane as a main road. This measure will clear all doubts and eliminate queues on the steep ascent approach. At this moment in time two roads meet with contradictory signage as approach from haigh ln has "give priority" and approach from woolley low moor ln has "stop".

Incorrect priority road sign, 14th February
The existing road sign says that there is a cross roads with the ability to continue straight on. 100m or less further on the road has been made into a one way system and a T junction and priority change. The historical road is in conflict with the new road layout.

Dangerous junction/roundabout, 11th May
The roundabout at the entrance to hollingthorpe estate is dangerous. This is due to drivers taking no notice of it. Those driving straight up stoney lane towards haigh don't slow down or give way to traffic coming out of the estate. Those coming down stoney lane drive straight over or the wrong way round the roundabout causing dangerous encounters with other drivers. And the parking from parents dropping kids off at school are causing obstructions as they are parking right up to the roundabout on the main road and on the estate too.

On Barnsley Road South bound. I cycle this route, this post was taken down after an accident over a year or two ago. However it is dangerous if you fall on it or a vehicle hits it (which appears to have already happened) being so close to the carriageway. Action required needs digging out and or new sign fitted.
