There are several large potholes on the Huddersfield bound side of the carriageway 10inches plus in diameter. Wall in dangerous state., 17th May
Some months ago this wall sustained some damage after a vehicle ran into it. Since then the wall has crumbled further. Last night I walked past the wall and it now appears to be in danger of falling into the little lane between Old Road and New Road. The weather seems to have caused the earth below the wall to crumble away. The whole wall could fall into the lower lane. At worse the pavement could fall away.

200m stretch of potholes along Clough Road, 11th March
This has been reported several times by me. Water runs out of the fields and streams down the road as there is no gutter. The frost has got in and there is a 200m run of holes. It is dangerous for motor cycle/ scooters and bikes. A simple remedy would be to scoop out a slot at the side of the road to take the water into the verge to soak away. It is a permanent problem here. The road is now a thorough mess through neglect.
