Inadequate parking for residents, 16th April
We have lived in normanton now over 10 years and live on castleford road, the house is ours, no mortgage and is paid for, over the years the parking in and around the houses has gotten worse, especially since the council keeps allowing houses to be split into multiple occupancy dwellings which is exacerbating the parking situation. We pay both council taxes, road taxes etc and feel that more needs to be done to cater for an ever increasing amount of cars that residents have to park. It's only going to get worse as people's kids get older and more people come into the area. More needs to be done by the council to help residents more.
