Pothole on A72, nr. Nest Roundabout, 8th March
There is a very large pothole on the southbound carriageway, on the approach to the Nest Roundabout. Avoiding it means encroaching on the northbound overtaking lane. Also, by the looks of it, if it is struck at any speed, it could possibly do quite a bit of damage.

Overgrown vegetation, 3rd September
The trees and or bushes here are growing out into the road and covering the sight lines for the 20mph speed sign and the radar speed display sign on approach to the roundabout from the Nest Roundabout side.

Tyre sized pothole and chunks of debris, 29th February
Pothole/sunken drain. Left hand side of lane as you enter Clovenfords from Peebles side. Come currently resident as a warning. Fists sized chunks of debris also littering surrounding area as surface breaks up.

Collapsed Wall, 6th December
Roadside wall on West side of Clovenfords to Caddonfoot road (B710)at edge of road and the Caddon Water (between Caddon Lynns and the playing field) has collapsed (not onto road). Just noticed but I walk road regularly and have just noticed today.

Vine St, Main A72, 10th May
This is in a terrible state, right through the village, and needs resurfacing from Meigle Row through to the roundabout, and the village exit.
Clovenfords is a pretty village but marred by the road which would be more at home in a 3rd world country. This has been the case for a number of years, but surely it would be economically viable to attend to it now, before it is beyond help, or worse kills a motorcyclist

There is a small but deep pothole about 1/2 mile South of Caddenfoot on the A707. The hole is the left side of the road when traveling south to Selkirk
