Council owned grounds not maintained, 20th June
No garden maintenance at council-owned Brookside is causing weeds to spread onto our property. Ivy, nettles, bindweed and brambles are growing up and through our fence from the council property, causing damage to our fence and shed. There seems to have been no maintenance down for many months and trees have been left unpruned, increasingly blocking light.

Tree growth blocking light, 3rd April
The trees along the boundary of council owned property have grown significantly of the last two years and are now substantially blocking evening light to our garden. We'd request these trees (sycamore and elder so very fast-growing) be pruned back substantially in both height and spread so they don't overhang or reduce sun so much. If access to our property is required then we're happy to arrange this. Thank you

Street light shining directly into bedroom, 15th March
This streetlight shines directly into bedrooms as the house is lower than street level. Even black out blinds are not enough to stop the rooms being bright at night. Please could a deflector shield be fitted so that the light shines onto the road but not straight onto the house. Thank you.

Central Keep left bollards, 31st July
On the approach to the Penstraze Junction on the A390 outbound there was a collision over a year ago which took out the keep left bollards that mark the raised traffic island in the middle of the road. The signs were never replaced. Last week a vehicle collided with the central island as it is not visible in dark or inclement weather. If a vehicle overtakes at speed and does not see the island there could be a tragic collision. The signs need replacing ASAP.
