A number of large white polypropylene bags full of what appears to be plastic netting have been lying on this verge for several years. Apart from being unsightly they are beginning to deteriorate and spill their plastic contents. If there is an authorised reason to block this verge then a proper solution should be found. The current situation is wrong for a lot of reasons.

Vehicular access / double yellow lines, 3rd August
Although double yellow lines are in force from May to September, and a car park is 50 feet away, we have to ask people to move their vehicles daily either so we can reverse out of our driveway or to get in or out of our garage. When we do ask (always politely), we are made to wait, as if we have annoyed the vehicle owner by asking them to move from the double yellow lines and let us out of our property. We are out of the way, but actually a very busy area in the summer there is a boatyard, sailing school and sailing club.
