Hedge overhanging pavement in front of Bolitho HouseTR18 4NY, 13th March
The ivy hedge in front of Bolitho House TR18 4NY to nearly the bottom of Lidden Road is so overgrown the pedestrians have to step out onto the busy New Road in order to pass. It has been like this for years but is now far worse.

Rocks falling from hedgeway, 9th December
This hedge is on boundary of Newlyn School, Carne Road (leading to Creeping Lane) The hedge is collapsing in two areas on lower part with rocks going into lane therefore obstructing residents safe access. The hedge is another 10/15 ft above the collapse so may be risk to public.

Gurnick Estate signpost is missing, 15th November
Earlier in spring, the Gurnick Estate signpost that was on the corner of Tredavoe Lane and the marked on the map fork was damaged when the hedges were cut.
Although this signpost was later replaced with a new one, it was not fitted well and fell and soon disappeared.
This is the route that many delivery vans take and since the signpost disappeared we've had an increased number of delivery drivers not being able to find Gurnick Estate or calling up for directions.
Please restore the Gurnick Estate signpost at the highlighted location.

Overgrown footpaths, 6th September
The footpaths around Higher Faugan/Tredavoe has been overgrown for months. I reported it, as did a number of neighbours, in May (and regularly since) with no improvement. I have cut as much as I can back with a secateurs but it needs doing properly. The Tredavoe to Chyenhal footpath is completely impassible. The old coffin path at the top of Tredavoe Lane to Tredavoe is so overgrown that I noted that the school young peoples trousers are wet before they even get on the bus to school. You are isolating a number of people as they like to walk to Tredavoe to the Chapel/coffee morning etc. There is no bus to Tredavoe. Therefore so much for your encouraging health and well being and being out and about more. Every time I report it CORMAC has other priorities such as the Coastal Footpath for the visitors. We-the locals- pay the precept, please let us benefit and enjoy our local environment.

Flower tubs have been flyposted, 30th July
Large bright posters have been put in the wooden flowering tubs along Penzance Promenade. These tubs have been placed on the highway abd the bright coloured posters are very distracting for motorists / you can’t even read what it says if you are driving carefully so no idea why they have been placed there. There are an eyesore and road safety hazard.

Several Pedestrian Near misses during Glowan Fest diversion, 25th June
This observation is extremely dangerous and needs to be reconcidered if a similar traffic diversion is put in place for next years festival Several near misses with pedestrian crossing at the junction of green street and coinagehall street During the festival traffic was diverted from Upper chapel yard Green Street Coinagehall Street
This is instead of proceeding along battery road. Observation was that traffic passed through this section at inappropriate speed (no warnings of potential pedestrians crossings) with a blind spot on the day onthe corner of green street and coinagehall street. It was a miracle no one got killed (especially when a group of bikers passed through the section at approx 1300 on 23/6. drivers were caught out by pedestrians crossing the road driving at the speed that they would normally do along battery road whch was not appropriate for the diversion route or the fact that parked vehicles obscured visablity when going through the bend.. Perhaps setup a temporary crossing point at this location
