Cars blocking pavement, 19th October
Two/three cars park blocking the pavement, making it unsafe and leaving people walking in the main road. This is outside 43 Lanner Hill. My neighbour uses a mobility scooter and is unable to get past these vehicles as it means going on to the road. They have been parking one car half on their driveway and half on the pavement and another car adjacent to their drive, it is impossible to pass with a pram or in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. My neighbour has spoken with the owners of the vehicles and they have been dismissive and refused to move the cars. This have been going on for 5-6 weeks.

Manhole cover been leaking since august, 21st November
Hi, there is a man hole cover on the road outside the Fox and Hounds Pub that has been leaking out fast flowing water since August. It is going to get very cold and icy soon and could be a potenal dangerous hazard. I have report this to South West Water but they state that they do not look after it and it is the responsibility of National Highways. Please could someone take a look as it is gushing out water. Many thanks, Jon

Tree Preservation Order application, 15th July
We want to receive a tree preservation order on a row of oak and holly trees in Gwennap, from the entrance to the vicarage (50.2159431, -5.1698556) to the Gwennap boundary sign (50.2150242, -5.1694925). These trees have housed bats (and we hope they continue to do so), and currently house numerous species of birds. Both trees and habitat are currently under unnecessary threat from a housing planning application proposal, and are being assessed by potential land purchasers. These trees grow along side a road, and are on a steep embankment, marking a boundary between a road and a field. The removal of trees will lead to flooding on both road and property boundaries during the winter and heavy bouts of rain.

Overgrown hedges making public highway narrow, 10th January
The road has become narrow because of debris along the edges and trees and bushes not being trimmed back , this makes it difficult for larger vehicles and and causes damage to the paintwork on my car. The council are very good at unlocking the drainage on this road when it floods , perhaps a word could be had with whoever is responsible for cutting the hedges? This has been a problem for the last two years

Despite the bridleway being priority Gold, landowners have closed and are aggressively defending the closure of a bridleway at Carn Wartha. We experienced unpleasantness when trying to negotiate the Row on 10th January. The owners have put up a sign saying Private The OS Map Is Not Accurate.

Bridleway 216/27/1 Priority Gold ERASED, 12th January
Trying to negotiate the Mining Trails between Redruth and Twelveheads we found that the bridleway grid ref 725407 near West Trevarth Cottage has been erased. The wall has been built up making entry impossible. The field has been given over to scrap which has been placed purposely to block the RoW. This link is important to keep safe people on a fairly busy road without footway.
