Broken path, collaped wall, 7th February
Near by neighbours was doing building works and caused the public footpath to collapse along taking the stone wall with it. The owner said he would fix the path and face the wall back to the stone face walled that it was. The accommodation has been built and some 2 years plus, the path and wall have not been reinstated.

Large potholes, 30th January
This track road is now not passable for normal vehicles due to massive potholes and is also not safe on foot. This is also increasing traffic on to other adjacent tracks which are making additional significant potholes.

Manhole cover been leaking since august, 21st November
Hi, there is a man hole cover on the road outside the Fox and Hounds Pub that has been leaking out fast flowing water since August. It is going to get very cold and icy soon and could be a potenal dangerous hazard. I have report this to South West Water but they state that they do not look after it and it is the responsibility of National Highways. Please could someone take a look as it is gushing out water. Many thanks, Jon

Tree Preservation Order application, 15th July
We want to receive a tree preservation order on a row of oak and holly trees in Gwennap, from the entrance to the vicarage (50.2159431, -5.1698556) to the Gwennap boundary sign (50.2150242, -5.1694925). These trees have housed bats (and we hope they continue to do so), and currently house numerous species of birds. Both trees and habitat are currently under unnecessary threat from a housing planning application proposal, and are being assessed by potential land purchasers. These trees grow along side a road, and are on a steep embankment, marking a boundary between a road and a field. The removal of trees will lead to flooding on both road and property boundaries during the winter and heavy bouts of rain.

Overgrown hedges on Wheal Damsal road, 31st July
Overgrown hedges on Wheal Damsel road starting from Wheal Damsel Farm up to Cathdral Cottage, the worst part being the over growing bamboo growing from the boundary of Glenhurst Cottage. We and a near neighbour of ours run Hgv’s through these roads daily and we often meet pedestrians, cyclist and horse riders. The over growth makes passing each other very difficult in certain parts of the road.
