FIXMYSTREET IN TR16 5BW
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of TR16 5BW:
Flooding issues, 29th April
My son had an accident in January along this road. Another vehicle crashed in exactly the same place and in the paper national highways said it was a known problem. His car was written off despite going slowly in the weather conditions and his airbag was not deployed, but because he ended up in the barrier it was written off. He had to claim against his insurance and his insurance is now extortionate. Lost his no claims bonus. We feel that this is unfair as it is a known issue that had not been solved at the time of impact.

Badly overegrown hedges, 19th December
I have lived here for over 4 decades and the owners of the land bordering the St Day Rd between my marker on the map and The Star Inn at Vogue have hardly ever cut the hedges. It is now very dangerous and as it's a busy main road with huge buses using it, there is going to be an accident because two vehicles can't pass safely. The road width has been drastically reduced by huge gorse bushes and brambles growing out from the hedges over a metre in places.

Parking on pavement, 20th October
People regularly park on the pavement in this street, because parking both sides makes it too narrow. However, often cars are overhanging their driveway onto the pavement and hedges overgrowing too. Makes it very difficult to navigate for my son who uses a wheelchair.
