Cars parked so that larger traffic (ie bin lorry, delivery trucks) can’t access road, 23rd April
We’ve had ongoing issues (2 years plus) with people parking their cars in a way that obstructs access to the rest of the road (Melvill Crescent, Falmouth) for larger vehicles. The bin lorry was unable to access the road today again, our food delivery had to be walked up to the house. Previously we have missed building work deliveries. Other residents have reported that on occasion ambulances haven’t been able to access the road.

Trees too close to building, 19th April
Some of the trees at the bottom of Prislow fields (down from the basketball hoop play area) have grown so much they are almost touching the block of flats in the neighbouring land. There are a lot of squirrels in the area which could cause damage to the property in addition to potential damage which the trees could cause if damaged in a storm. Please could these be cut back?

Untaxed vehicle with no MOT obstructing the pavement., 26th March
This very large camper/RV vehicle is obstructing the pavement between Florence Terrace and Marlborough Road. This means that pedestrians and people with pushchairs must walk in the road which is dangerous. It has not moved for well over a year. It has several flat tyres. There is vegetation growing underneath it. It has no tax or MOT and is therefore illegally parked on the highway. I have informed the DVLA and police. It is frustrating that so far no action has been taken. There is an acute problem with parking in the area and the fact that people dump illegal unroadworthy vans here is not helping. Please could it be removed. Thanks.

Wrong tree planted in road, 14th February
I believe this tree has been planted in error outside our house - it is totally different to the other trees in the road. It appears to be a Catalpa bignonioides (or indian bean tree) - I'm worried the roots will spead and damage the foundations of our house. Also countless people have driven into the low branches of the tree.

Large builder's bag blocking pavement, 10th December
This is the second time these huge builder's bags of sand such as this one have been blocking the pavement. It restricts access to the dropped curb for pushchairs and mobility scooters, there is loose sand/small bits of building materials scattered on the surrounding pavement. The issue for access to the pavement is not helped by a line of cars parking up the curb, so restricting it even more. Difficult for those with sight problems too or just anyone who wants to walk on the pavement.

In considerate neighbours, 11th July
We have to leave and come home to this every Tuesday. It is always the same people. It is unfair to the collectors to be greeted with this. Surely this is worthy of a council tax discount!
