Collapsing lane, 8th February
This spot on Claphatch lane is becoming unusable. On one side the lane is collapsing into a culvert and due to traffic having to avoid this the other side of the lane is now potholed and subsiding. If the lane becomes unusable due to heavy farm traffic and general domestic and commuting usage being a no through road several houses will be cut off and day to day farm operations will have to be severely curtailed. This needs looking at urgently please.

Very large very dangerous deep wide pothole on narrow bend. There are 3 x dangerous potholes along this road, one has cones in it but the one on bend is lethal as you can not go over it and I have nearly been hit a few times where I or other cars are having to go round it. The school bus travels this route every morning as well as parents traveling to Stonegate primary school. PLEASE sort this out as a matter of urgency as it is an accident waiting to happen! Also note there are large Lorry’s using this road which have driven cars off the road along this stretch as they are too wide for the road which just adds to the danger. Road signs should also be put up on this bend.

This area has gradually decayed in the last few months. The blue spray appeared a few weeks ago and I don’t know if it’s significant. There were some plastic cones placed on it but they have been broken by passing vehicles. It’s a real hazard for traffic.
