Huge areas of road surface gone and dangerous potholes everywhere everywhere, 27th January
These potholes have been here for over a year. The photos attached were taken in September - and they are MUCH worse now. There is currently works being done to a property and the lights now make you go through the trenches in the middle of the road - such bad placement. I have complained about this before direct to E Sussex back last April and still nothing has been done. It needs to be fixed. There is barely any road surface left. It is a danger and should be a priority. The A264 is a very busy major road that is used by thousands every day including large HGVs so it's only going to get worse. Fix it!!!

Large pothole on edge of drain cover on bend, 23rd November
Temporary repair at edge of drain has collapsed causing a deep pothole next to drain cover. Pothole is on a lefthand bend and is not visible to driver. It is difficult to avoid due to oncoming traffic.

Large pothole spanning entire left side of road, 8th June
There is a large, deep pothole on the left hand side of the road if you are heading towards Tunbridge Wells. The pothole is unavoidable without driving entirely on the wrong side of the road. It could greatly damage a car if they were to drive quickly over it. There is also a smaller pothole in the centre of the road which can cause difficulties.

Cratered road surface, 1st June
A large area of the road surface is breaking up causing cars to drive on the wrong side of the road just below a small hill. It has been this way for months.

Very very dangerous pot holes, 28th May
Numerous people have reported these dangerous pot holes but still nothing is done . I hope the council get sued if anything untoward happens and someone is hurt . The last time we reported this the council said they would repair in 30 days ! Still nothing !!

Very large pot hole across both lanes of A264, 7th May
Very large pot hole across post lanes of the A264 as you enter Ashrust coming from Hammerwood. Urgent attention needed and speed restriction needs to be in place if this can be repaired. The road surface has gone and this will cause an accident. Not fully sure if precise location but it is very obvious when you find it.

Can't pin point exact area but between the bridge at Ashurst and Beech Green Lane the carriageway is away. There is a bad area of middle carriageway bad and potholes
