Abandoned caravan parked in layby, 21st March
Caravan has been abandoned in the layby. The number plates have been taken off and it looks as though it is being used as a storage container. The layby is normally used by lorries coming to and from the industrial estate however they are unable to use the layby now as the caravan is blocking access.

Blocked drain/grits, 12th March
At the junction with western barn close A259 you have a drain grill. This is supposed to take away road water, it is blocked and has been for some time ( years ) . Western barn is below the A259 ,water builds up then flows down into western barn close causing flooding . It needs cleaning out asap.

Parking issue, 15th February
Parking on this section of road is prohibited between 8am and 6pm. We have received reports of a particluar vehicle (details available on request) repeatedly parking on the double yellow lines during the day for extended periods. This causes a significant build up of traffic along a residential street, with engines idling. It also has a knock-on effect on traffic flow around the town due to its one-way system. Please can regular enforcement of the double yellow lines be undertaken?

Car charging cable laid across the pavement at night, 27th November
The owner of car registration P10 GKN resident of number 5 South Undercliff charges their car by laying the cable across the pavement and has no warning signs I should imagine this is actually illegal not to mention dangerous I have actually tripped over it in the dark and broken a bone in my elbow this needs to be stopped please I have informed the police but they aren’t interested.

Again the road is flooded across its whole width due to blocked drains. Persistent problem. Cars go through at speed and/or try and avoid and/or soak pedestrians. It is dangerous.
