Abandoned vehicle for past week without number plates, 4th September
Black fiesta parked outside my house appears abandoned with no number plates. This is a parking area and is very busy because of the A20 roadworks (people use Old Ashford Road as a rat run). It affects large vehicles turning into the Moat

Dirty street furniture, 30th January
All the bollards, markers between Harrietsham and Charing on the A20 are so dirty they are invisible in the dark. Very dangerous.

Road alterations, 2nd September
I cycled up Charing hill this morning at about 5 mph with about 20 vehicles behind me. I have seen similar queues behind farm vehicles coming up the hill on the A252 The recent road alterations ( I could not call them improvements) are not working. It was a missed opportunity to put in a cycle path on the up hill side, there are far too many unnecessary road signs. The usable space has not been used wisely.

Fence unstable following a car accident, 19th July
This evening there was a car accident which crashed into the public toilets on the Old Ashford Road. The wooden fence surrounding the toilet is only held on by a couple of nails and could fall onto a passerby or into the road causing another accident.

Storm drain in need of repair., 22nd December
The storm drain is directly outside our front door. We have noticed our property shakes when traffic drives over it. It also lifts and falls producing a distinct clunking noise. I am not sure if it has been repaired recently but it seems to be in need of some maintenance.

Blocked drains on Northern Bypass, 8th October
The drains along the Northern bypass are pretty much all blocked up with mud, leaves and other detritus. Some even have grass growing out of them. Yet there is enough money to waste on crash barriers and new road markings?

Pavement in abysmal condition, 8th October
The pavement between the roundabout and Hart Hill is overgrown and in a generally poor condition. Trees and bushes overgrown over pavement in places, and the pavement itself about half of its origianl width with out of control/unkempt grass

Fallen shrubbery across footpath, 24th July
For about 3-4weeks there has been a fallen tree/bush/green thing across the footpath on the Northern bypass just up from the missing gate entrance to the race course. Currently means the footpath is no use to families or people with buggies as you have to walk in to the oncoming traffic to avoid if heading downhill

Cars parked on junction area, 24th July
Sonething really should be done about the selfish people parking at the end of Downs Way and on School Road on or near to the bus stop and junction mouth. The amount of near misses with traffic coming and going in to Downs Way is silly, and amazing there has yet to be a coming together. Yellow lines would be my suggestion, but they wont be enforced or noticed. This problem has been present for about 2 years at its worst, and is beyond a joke now

Overgrown hedge on the village side of Downs Way entrance, 24th July
The hedge at the end of Downs Way is far too overgrown, and obscures the view towards the high street when trying to pull out of Downs Way on to School Road. Probably not the councils responsibility, but hey ho

All the drains along the northern bypass are blocked, 8th June
On my daily walk to and from work, it has become apparent that all the drains along the road are blocked, almost level with the tarmac full of leaves and dirt. Not really going to do much draining like that surely

Overgrown verges/debris covering footpath, 8th June
Footpath is in an appalling state, despite being "repaired" not that long ago. Trees and bushes overgrown, and grass verve at least 2 feet tall. Foot path also covered in debris, and best of all, a couple of mounds of horse manure! The footpath near the roundabout is also in a poor state after being driven over by a farmers load arm to recover a turned over tractor and trailer
