Abandoned car on corner of entrance to one way street, 14th April
This car has been left on the entrance to the one way street for at least 4 days. The front tyres are flat and one appears to have been driven on the alloy rims. The interior has what appears to be an open container of alcohol so it looks like it has been abandoned after hitting something.

This pothole has been here for some some time and ecently has become very deep and dangerous. When there is traffic on the other side of the road it is impossible to avoid not putting the left side of your vehicle into these holes - they are extremely dangerous for both car and cycle users.

Recurrence of pothole, 5th March
The corner of the drain has, yet again for about the 5th time, started to deteriorate where the tyres of cars and lorries pass over it. The hole is about 7 inches deep now and the corner of the drain is now very exposed so potentially it could damage wheels and tyres.

Blocked path, 19th February
Pavement has been blocked by a tree that has come down on the A28. The bits that were chopped off have been left on the pavement and blocked it totally. The only way around is to step into the main road and, especially when heading towards Halden Close from the Chennels, walk into oncoming traffic travelling at 40 mph when you can not see past the debris… I nearly got hit by a car trying to get past and it’s very dangerous for it to have been left like that with it being the only pedestrian access to the village from the nursing home.

New pothole at Halden Close entrance, 28th December
The drain cover has started to deteriorate in the past 24 hours resulting in an increase in loud banging when vehicles drive over the hole. It is not helped by the next drain also dropping so HGVs make a huge racket when they drive past

Dumped Hyundai, 4th October
There’s an abandoned vehicle at the entrance to the one way road in Hookstead. As it has damage to its side and front as well as the towing bar is attached to the bumper with it facing the wrong way up the one way street, I have a feeling that it has been dumped and poses a dangerous obstruction to any traffic entering the one way road.

Formed pothole overnight, 4th December
The area around the drain has gone from fine last night to deteriorated this morning... we had mildly heavy rain all day yesterday and snow this morning and it appears to have caused a lot of damage to the tarmac surrounding the drain cover..... this area has had to be repaired on numerous occasions over the past few years and looks like it’s going downhill again.

Drain cover disintegration, 8th August
The drain cover on both sides of the road is disintegrating as traffic heads into the traffic islands.... when heavy duty lorries or any other high tonnage vehicles drive over them, it makes a huge amount of noise and also seems to be making the dips worse. Also the tarmac is deteriorating around the covers leaving exposed metal edges of the covers.
