Big Trees very close to the houses, 21st March
We feel like when it's very windy the big tree/ trees near the buildings are going to collapse. One of the trees is actually very close to our balcony. There's some rubbish around ( that can't be seen on the photos) on this side of the park that is difficult more difficult to access.

Visitors car prk, 29th February
I live in one of five terrace houses which are private and we have a visitors car parking space which cannot be used because one of the neighbours park their two cars across it stopping access to the space

Parking on ZIG-ZAG's & double yellow's outside school., 22nd January
Parents during school drop off are continually ignoring the hihway code and school safety by putting other children/parents and other road users at risk, by parking on the pedestrian school crossing lines and double yellow lines directly outside the school. This total reduces the road width and makes it difficult for other road users coming around from the Stanhope area. I have challenged drives, but received verbal abuse. Obnoxious parents/guardians.

Traffic light issues, 15th November
Could you please explain the traffic lights around the town of Ashford and why they are incorrectly synchronised ? For example – Simone Weil Avenue from Bybrook (Canterbury Road) towards the Drovers Roundabout, traffic turns right against a green light into the shopping area (Sainsburys, M & S etc) yet traffic heading UP the road towards Drovers is held on a red light ? But there is ZERO traffic to prevent movement in that direction. Also – the green ‘turn left’ arrow from Canterbury Road into Simone Weil Avenue is out of sync – traffic is held on a red when it could be released. There are many similar instances around the town where lights are out of sync or the lights are holding traffic on a red where it is not necessary. Virtually none of the traffic light systems operate with sensors to enable traffic to flow more efficiently. The lights on the Junction 10 (M20) roundabout are often completely un-necessary these days (the roundabout always used to work better when the lights had failed even before Junction 10A existed) and as they have no sensors they are often holding traffic when it does not require it. Why are these issues never addressed ? The traffic flow around the town is getting worse and worse as more lights are installed, traffic levels increase and the whole traffic light infrastructure is so poorly managed.

Sewage leaking, 7th November
Footpath / cycle way next to singleton hill has sewerage leaking out onto it. I reported this to southern water on Sunday after I came home from holiday to find sewerage bubbling up through a manhole in my drive on the adjacent road (Whigham close). We didn’t find any blockage on our property but manholes were overflowing. At this point there was no spillage on singleton hill but my husband has just told me it’s now coming out from somewhere on the bank and from the nearby manhole.

Dangerously tall trees., 6th November
There are two very tall trees which I believe to be on council land to the rear of my property - 11 John Haselden Crescent. I'm very concerned these trees are unsafe and may fall onto my property during high winds. Could a suitable contractor please attend to survey? Many thanks.

Tree branches falling onto car causing damage, 5th November
I have reported this tree before for causing damage to our car, it is still overhanging , breaking off and damaging our car. In the summer we get sap on our car also. Please could you either cut it right back or cut it down thank you

Victoria Park Rubbish, 21st September
Victoria Park is a wonderful big green area. It should be kept clean and protected (there aren't many places like this in every neighbourhood ) not only for the wild life living here but also for everyone that is enjoying it. That pile of rubbish has been left there just in the middle.Please remove or treat it and cover with soil and plants. Aldo instead of barbecue areas a senior physical activity park would have been better. Thank you.

Overhanging branches and brambles causing a hazard, 10th September
The shrubbery beside the path at the Beaver Road end of Bond Road alongside the bus stop needs cutting back as there are branches and brambles overhanging causing an obstruction to walkers and are hazardous when it's windy as grey can be blown into one's face.

The bushes at the edge of the path between Grantley Close and Barn Platt and which surround two BT cabinets are overhanging causing an obstruction to walkers and are dangerous when the wind whips them. The whole are needs a good prune. Not too hard though as it is a great environment for wildlife.

Overgrown foliage mess/danger to walkway, 8th September
The house owner at 46 bond road is not maintaining their foliage and has allowed it to grow out over the pathway and also the amount of fruit/berries being dropped has caused the pavement to become slippery at times being a danger to pedestrians
