School Restriction Area Parking Double Yellow, 3rd January
Cars completely blocking lane by parking on whole stretch of double yellow lines outside Chilmington Green Primary, cars are unable to pass, reversing some distance to ease congestion, nearly hitting pedestrians. Very unsafe for children, if an emergency occurred there would be significant delay in receiving help. School unwilling to request parents leave passable access as previous requests have been ignored. Very unsafe. Some inforceable presence or education to drivers is required before an accident occurs.

Sewage leaking, 7th November
Footpath / cycle way next to singleton hill has sewerage leaking out onto it. I reported this to southern water on Sunday after I came home from holiday to find sewerage bubbling up through a manhole in my drive on the adjacent road (Whigham close). We didn’t find any blockage on our property but manholes were overflowing. At this point there was no spillage on singleton hill but my husband has just told me it’s now coming out from somewhere on the bank and from the nearby manhole.

Over hanging tree, 3rd July
The large Ash tree at the back of 2 Homestead alongside the footpath from Little Hempen has many dead branches which are breaking off and falling into my garden. It is only time until one of these hits someone casing serious injury. Please deal with this urgently.

Fencing falling down, 9th April
Fencing falling down next to electricity sub station. Panels have come out of the concrete posts. I reported this to local council over 6 months ago and nothing has been done. The panels are being held up by cable ties around posts put there by myself.

Byway clearing, 9th October
A small section of the byway has been recently cut back but a tree has now fallen and isn't passable. Also the rest of the byway is yet to be cleared and again is impassable.

Street Sign Damage, 6th July
The street sign between Coulter road and Cuckoo Lane at the junction to Chart road has been severely damaged and looks like it may have been hit by a car. There is a lot of glass on the surrounding area presenting a hazard which needs cleaning up.
