Dangerous road condition including rutting and potholes, 16th February
Continuous bad road condition including numerous potholes, bad rutting, sunken drain/utility covers. The north west side of the road from the Cuckoo trail bridge all the way up past Horam Park Close and Grange Close up to the roundabout with the A267. The road needs a full resurface and not just patching up - cars are swerving into the path of other cars to avoid damage and a serious accident is going to happen.

15 inch pothole by ashmore farm, 3rd December
Dangerous potholes on both sides of the road. Gradually getting worse as the weather has blown the holes apart. Cars having to deviate around to avoid hitting them. Could be a potential big hazard at the moment with much risk to every driver. Needs looking at ASAP as there will be an accident very soon.

Overgrown hedge, 27th July
Hedge adjacent to Horebeech Lane Cuckoo Trail bridge and Rosemead Place Bovis Homes development is overgrown and narrowing useable pathway adjacent to a dangerous section of the road that narrows at the bridge. This has not been attended to for a very long time and is getting worse every day. Is the council responsibility to maintain, or Bovis Homes?

Dangerous ponds unfenced, 27th July
There are a number of old ponds adjacent to the cuckoo trail on land adjacent to what is now The Rosemead Place housing development off Horebeech Lane. The area of issue is adjacent to 23 Poppy Drive. To the far side of this land there is an upper walk along cuckoo trail and the old fencing is old and broken down in several places. The ponds are filled with old tyres, debris and fallen down trees. A pet or child could easily not realise that water is under this swampy surface and be injured or drown before anyone was aware. I believe Bovis Homes are fencing the area adjacent to the housing development, but doing nothing to the other perimeter, which remains accessible. Who is responsible for making this area safe and secure? Should the ponds not be cleared and fencing installed to the entire perimeter?

Dumped (?) car on blind approach to railway bridge, 23rd May
GR07 BPU which has no MOT has been abandoned (?) on the approach to the Cuckoo Trail single track road bridge. It is causing an obstruction as traffic cannot see round the car to check for oncoming traffic. It is dangerous and urgently needs moving.
